Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk - a talented actor as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna Silk's dad is from Britain, as is her mother was is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her working in rehearsals for plays. At the beginning of her career Anna was a part of a variety of television commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto in order to help her acting grow. The actress later moved to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. The couple got engaged. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. The couple was married civilly in December of that year and then renewed their vows at the Jewish wedding ceremony that took place in Fredericton on April 11, 2011. Bo's relationship to Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was highlighted in CNN's list of all-time most viewed TV Couples as well as named the most popular TV Couple of 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. Its popularity resulted in Anna amassing a significant audience on social networks.
